Besides being as hot as a cowgirl in tight wranglers (double meaning intended), and getting a flat tire on our trailer, we had a GREAT time. One of the cool things for me was being able to play at the Garfield County Fairgrounds. I learned today, while doing a radio interview with Gabe, that Chris LeDoux played one of his very last shows at Garfield County Fairgrounds! We ended our show with a tribute medley to him. We want to thank all of the wonderful people who made the event a huge success for us!
On a personal note, I would like to thank Trent, Brooke, Susan, and Joe Joe for believing in us and making us feel a part of the Midnight Sun Events family.
On a much more important note, today is a great day in the Wilson family! Many people know Talia, who plays the fiddle, and her Dad, Jeff, whom we call the "X-Factor" because he not only drives the bus, but he does a million other things behind the scenes that make this dream possible. Their brother and son, Harper, returned home from Afghanistan today!!!!! We are proud of him and grateful for all of the brave servicemen and women who keep us safe. In our band, "country" has a double meaning.
Keep Ridin'
